This week I have not...

*Stood in my bathroom for five minutes, staring at the drawers with all my "junk" in them (medications, q-tips, nail polish remover, etc. etc.) and wondered what the heck I came in there for...

*Left $30 worth of groceries sitting in the car when it was 95 degrees outside (said groceries included cheese, frozen strawberries, butter, and milk...YUM)...for like 2 hours...

*Taken 10 8-year-old boys to an Iowa Cubs baseball game in the middle of the hottest week of the summer--you know you love your children when you give them the birthday party of their dreams!

*Made a specific point of getting all the kids out of our room and into bed before 9pm last night (thank you, honey!) so that I could settle in for the season finale of my favorite summer show, "Boston Med"...only to be totally confused as to why it wasn't on last night. Until I realized I had spent the majority of the day thinking Wednesday was Thursday. Right up until 9pm. I'm choosing to be glass-half-full about this and think "Yay, I have a whole extra day I didn't think I would have" as opposed to "Seriously losing my mind. Seriously."

*Driven my children from tennis lessons to playhouse camp to the pool to the eye doctor to Nana's house...all the while counting them off in my head to make sure they are all accounted for...

*Done a load of laundry--no seriously, people, I have NOT done a load of laundry. I am in so much trouble this weekend. The kids may have to wear their swimsuits instead of clothes tomorrow...

*Let 3/4 of our children sleep in our bed at some point or another (which very very rarely happens)...Max was Tuesday night with his bloody nose/allergy attack (yeah, that was fun), Tate was last night with what I believe to be the attack of the 2-year molar, and Zoe is tonight, just because Daddy is out of town. I'm sure Charlie will come up with something by tomorrow night...
